If they used phosgene instead of chlorine, that completely exonerates them!
If the glove doesn't fit, you must acquit!

The former director of the OPCW is not very happy about the Douma report it seems. Yes, I did say former director. That makes two OPCW Douma investigators and the previous head of the OPCW challenging the Douma redacted report. It is time now to finally admit that something about the OPCW, well stinks.

So far we have found out that:-

The cylinder ballistics were misrepresented, the cylinder was not dropped from an aircraft.
The Chemical analysis was misrepresented, the chlorine was only found in trace elements too low to be meaningful.
The symptoms shown in the famous movie did not match any of the chemicals found.

Quote from letter by Jose Bustani, the former head of the OPCW, and Richard Falk - Source 'Courage Foundation Twitter.

"Based on the whistleblower’s extensive presentation, including internal emails, text exchanges
and suppressed draft reports, we are unanimous in expressing our alarm over unacceptable
practices in the investigation of the alleged chemical attack in Douma, near the Syrian capital of
Damascus on 7 April 2018. We became convinced by the testimony that key information about
chemical analyses, toxicology consultations, ballistics studies, and witness testimonies was
suppressed, ostensibly to favor a preordained conclusion.

We have learned of disquieting efforts to exclude some inspectors from the investigation whilst
thwarting their attempts to raise legitimate concerns, highlight irregular practices or even to
express their differing observations and assessments —a right explicitly conferred on inspectors
in the Chemical Weapons Convention, evidently with the intention of ensuring the independence
and authoritativeness of inspection reports.

However belatedly, we therefore call on the OPCW to permit all inspectors who took part in the
Douma investigation to come forward and report their differing observations in an appropriate
forum of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention, in fulfillment of the spirit of
the Convention. They should be allowed to do this without fear of reprisal or even censure. "

Time to install an independent head of the OPWC before this farce casts discredit on other similar institutions.

The former director of the OPCW is not very happy with the Douma report. He is encouraging even more whistle blowers.

I could say I told you so. I told you so!

"The Mail on Sunday can reveal that a senior official at the Organisation for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) demanded the ‘removal of all traces’ of a document which undermined claims that gas cylinders had been dropped from the air – a key element of the ‘evidence’ that the Syrian regime was responsible."

From other sources it has been learned that 'about' 20 inspectors went to Douma and 'about' 20 inspectors from the original team have voiced serious concerns over the drafting of the official report. If my math is right that sounds like everybody to me.

OPCW management then created another team who have not been to Syria to draft the interim report. All these members came from a single country "X". The original team have been denied access to the process.

Can you imagine the pressure the whistle blowers are under? It is not like the OPCW team are loonies, they were carefully vetted to have no political bias and be totally professional. Hans Blix - remember him. He was told that if he undercut the Bush administration on IRAQ he would never find work in the same field again. You have to admire the OPCW members courage. Go for it!

-----------

Allied to this news is what I have been saying all along that we now have censorship by omission. Apart from the Mail, no other mainstream media has taken up on this major story.

This thread has been overtaken by events at the OPCW, namely those courageous whistle blowers who have placed their careers on the line by disputing the redacted report as misrepresentation and distortion.

I believe I have finally made my point. It now remains for those who bitterly fought me to admit they were wrong and reassess their analysis and logic.
