My favorite political humorist is definitely Tom Toles.

In fact, back when I was working at my college newspaper I came across this box of old Toles panels that we had already run in the paper and I took them home with me. I still don't know what, if anything, I will ever do with them, but for some reason I just couldn't bring myself to throw them away.

(Don Slutes) An Arizona man, Don Slutes, took a little liberty with The Washington Post front page, doctoring it with an image of Obama laughing and the headline “Gingrich Wins S.C. Primary.” The fake newspaper cover tricked a few people, including the Detroit News. Slutes said he based the montage on a National Lampoon front page of Richard Nixon laughing beneath a “McGovern wins nomination!” headline.
With the tight race in Florida coming to a head Tuesday night, we’ll have to wait to see who has the last laugh.

Big giggle on that one, indy.
Every woman needs a blowtorch.
---Julia Child

--- On September 17, 1787, as Benjamin Franklin was leaving the deliberations of the Constitutional Convention, at Independence Hall, in Philadelphia, a woman called out to him, saying, “Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?”
“A republic,” Franklin said, “if you can keep it.”

Gilligan's island is about as appropriate an analogy for the POGer-fest as you could ever ask for!

Lol!! Too funny. I actually had thought of the the Repubs as Gilligan's Island characters a couple weeks ago--someone else already had that idea. My version of casting was pretty similar, but with Palin and Bachmann switched, and Ron Paul as Gilligan--the SS Minnow actually sank because it was overloaded with too many gold bars. :)

Republigan's Island - very funny.

The only one who didn't need to be photo-shopped is Mitt.
Ron Paul is hilarious.

Well, I consider it humor anyway...

Quote

GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum said the Obama administration’s view of proponents of California’s Proposition 8 amounts to bigotry.

Proposition 8, which was passed in 2008 and banned same-sex marriage in California, was ruled unconstitutional Tuesday by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Santorum, speaking at a campaign stop Wednesday in Texas, said the administration’s view of advocates of Proposition 8 is that their “belief of marriage between a man and a woman is purely irrational based on irrational hatred and bigotry. Where’s the tolerance in that?”
