This Cotton person: wasn't he at one time going to be the Tea Party's Next Big Thing in the Senate? Now he's hardly mentioned! (In TRS, that is, so hardly mentioned at all, I deduce). Sad!

Once Obama was gone a lot of the firebrands in the Senate like Cotton and even Ted Cruz have been somewhat ignored by the media. Cotton's big thing was being against the deal with Iran. With Trump pulling out of that there isn't anything for Cotton to talk about. Action in the Senate hasn't been in the legislative arena because it's just rubber-stamping Trump's judicial nominees. Not much opportunity to grandstand on that.
