Written in early 2018 by Mark Arax who writes a lot on agriculture in the lower Central Valley, this long form article gives insight into the growing of nuts and pomegranates by the "PomWonderful" people. The movement of water, the 5 year drought, a company town, the employees, the Lady Bountiful...it's all here. It looks nothing like the farming of row crops that many associate with big agriculture.
